Wife, husband, and dog team! Beginning our journey into the exciting world of game dev.
Hooked up the save / load and character customization systems to a placeholder menu.

The artist (wife) is busy working on a cute baby ‘yeti’ so I had to make the art and music (sorry lol).

Everything in the project so far has been code but I still wanted to show something!

What are you guys most excited for with your journey in #gamedev this year?

We’ve been gone for the last few weeks so we are excited to finally start chipping away again at our 200 mile long laundry list for our game!

Finished implementing the base of our character customization! It took me most of the day and I still need to make all the art for it but the bones are done!

We are back from Thanksgiving! And excited to get back into development this week!

We are done with the inventory/item system and moving onto the tilemap.

We are going with a custom-coded dual-grid system to cut down on required assets and because I can’t wrap my head around Unity’s rule tiles 😅

Our reach is a bit small but we thought we’d ask. What do you other #indiegame devs use for dialogue?

We haven’t implemented a system yet but it’s almost time and we’d like to have a running start!

We are probably going to use the Dialogue System for #Unity but what other tools do you use?
