does me being unimaginably fixated on the drider bring me more followers? Not at all, I think it repels a lot of people tbh, and I'll never have a large audience ever. Am I being authentically myself? Absolutely. Am I going to continue to adore, post about, and draw the drider? Oh yeah of course

Some background info about Tiny Kar'niss and him celebrating Halloween (in the form of tired stream of consciousness)

This is why he's enthusiastic this year about having a whole Halloween party! He's adjusting so well 💖🕷️

Image of post by user Obisooth that reads: "so tiny niss is only about 3 years old (think of it in terms of a tarantula's age, not a human or humanoid). in the first year of life he was too young to participate in halloween festivities, as they usually suggest to spend the first year or so letting the minidrider acclimate to the new environment. 2nd year tiny niss didn't really want to participate in the halloween festivities, but they suggest that it's good safe socialisation and enrichment for minidriders (plus it helps the community get used to the presence of minidriders and promotes the idea that minidriders are overall safe, to try to clear up the stigma around them), so Majesty chose the costume for him which he hated. however, this year tiny niss did want to participate because he wanted to pick his own costume, and he's very happy about it."

I am so fortunate that she has lived this long, as she was mature and already mated when I rescued her. I don't know how long she has left, but every day, week, month has been a blessing and I'm extremely lucky to have had her for an entire year 🥹

Happy Matron day!! 1 year ago I rescued a shriveled-bum, 7-legged Parson spider from the carpet. A year later, she's still alive and laid 5 fertile egg sacs throughout her life. I've learned so much about spiders and developed a deep love and appreciation for spiders because of her. 💖🕷️

One time I got a video for free from someone who gave me some advice and it legitimately helped me (and still helps me) push past my art blocks. Just have to keep doing art, and Kar'niss has been the most effective muse by far.
