why does the definition of agi , asi & ass matter? i'd rather focus on the tasks that these models have so far handled with a lot of ease compared to human beings ~ increasing our productivity. the this & that definition is more like a founder's disease only cured by shipping.

reading deepseek-v3 technical report, its total training cost was ~$5.576m including pre-training, context length extension & post-training. that's a huge potential for scaling up these models cheaply.

it's 2025 & i'm rooting for open-source ai. the industry will really benefit from it. especially those of us who aren't in any position to structure our data in a usable way let alone build foundational models. if deepseek catches up with open-ai, so be it.
