A smiling crowd of feminists gathered outside of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin for the #WakingTheFeminists public meeting on 12 November 2015. Captured by Fiona Morgan. A photo so good we had to include it not only on the cover of WTF Happened but also as a double-page spread inside of the book.

“The bogs, rivers, mountains, and shorelines are more than preservers of old myths, bones, and memories. They are energy banks and time sponges, and what is held within them seeks release.”

Why is nobody talking about Matthew MacFadyen as the new James Bond?
Think about it. A return to a Roger Moore like Bond. An 007 with style, panache and comic flair. Think it could be just what the series needs? #JamesBond #Bond

Any player who can’t or won’t should be benched or sold. Getting rid of Amorim won’t change that. In fact Amorim is the first manager that has stood up to and got rid of a lot of the toxic players out of the club.
United are at an impasse & need to be very careful about what they do next. /4 #mufc
obrienpmark.bsky.social
The very least to be expected is that players show some passion, urgency, fight.
I never want to hear about not playing for the manager. They aren’t playing for a manager they’re playing for the badge, for the honour, for the privilege, for the supporters. /3
obrienpmark.bsky.social
Whatever next there are players that played today that need to be sold and others who need time on the bench.
Shaw and Dalot need to be gone. Bruno and Maguire need to be benched. Anyone who doesn’t give full passion and effort hauled off. All this bull about formations, systems and tactics. 2/

United are at an impasse.
Amorim may be sacked in November (they’ll keep him for the year to avoid a payout). But what then?
Is Pochettino eventually going to get his go or will they go to Southgate (hopefully not) or try and prise Bournemouth’s or Palaces’ coach (why would either move)? 1/
