I’m still processing the stills and video I shot at the No Kings protest in Chicago. People are so clever and there were so many good signs, but I had to share this one because it’s so nuanced.

I have come to LA to be with my Mom as she makes her final transition. The hoya flowers just outside of her room weep sweetly scented tears along with us all.

Happy Mother’s Day!! Our mama cardinal is working hard. Good job mama!! Hope everyone celebrates the mamas in their life - the ones who selflessly give because they know it’s for the greater good, who love deeper than the surface. And sending love to anyone for whom today is difficult.
