Why? It’s clever and believable, excellent satire. And a good lesson to grab the references before re-posting something because we’re better than the Cheeto’s followers.

The tariffs on already-cheap Chinese goods are 10% ie nothing. That surprised me when it’s 25% on Canadian goods. Clearly nobody’s stopping buying cheap everything from China with that tiny increase; one wonders what his supporters think of this.

I don’t know, I just noticed the nature of so much interaction there was arguing with the worst kind of people (maybe bots) who I’ve never even met and went “Why would I want to spend my time this way?” Surely this dawns on any user eventually unless they’re very lonely and addicted to arguing.

Ha I just put some effort into finding the source of this - and found it’s a book I bought some time ago and didn’t get into super quickly at the time. Nice. Maybe need to give it another go.
