This regime has a habit of referring to those they have murdered or want to murder as terrorist. They called antifa a terrorist organization and are now saying that this is all some left wing plot. It seems to me that they are trying to lay the groundwork for wholesale murder.

This clearly only worked with the assistant of elements of the Venezuelan government. Chinooks, the loudest helicopters we have, during a full moon and everybody in Caracas saw them come in. No way they don't get shot down in a real full on engagement.

Even if it had been sitting on the backburner, it's still a distraction. GOP won't impeach Trump for starting a war with Venezuela but they would if evidence came out that he was going to poundtown with a 13 year old girl on Epstein Island. Now we're fixated elsewhere. 2 birds, 1 stone.

So why are we now involving law enforcement? I thought Maduro and Co were terrorist. Wasn't that why we were blowing up "drug" boats without evidence or due process? Why did we risk the lives of American servicemen just to arrest a "terrorist" when a cruise missile would do?

Bush wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he was at least smart enough not to immediately explain the real reason for invasion in the same speech announcing the fabricated one.
