Yeah we looked into a small business plan but the rate is based on their ability to “underwrite the risk”. IE, no preexisting conditions. So in our case ACA is literally our only option and the cheapest is about $40k with a $14k deductible. It’s insane.

We are small business owners and have no choice but ACA plan and no choice but to make less than the income cap or our insurance cost jumps by $40k for the worst plan you can imagine
