It would have to be a pretty high end mirror (sapphire?) to not melt, I’m guessing.

Fault seems to lie with the helicopter pilot (also white btw). www.irishtimes.com/world/us/202...
Washington DC plane crash: Blame for mid-air collision appears to lie with helicopter crew
Analysis: Jetliner’s flight crew were carrying out textbook approach to airport across Potomac River

While I’m against Trump’s policies, a little Googling makes it pretty clear that there was an air traffic controller doing their job; the helicopter crew was notified that they were on a collision course and the helicopter pilot F-d up. www.irishtimes.com/world/us/202...

Clearly the military needs to ditch these DEI Blackhawk helicopters and replace them with more qualified Whitehawk helicopters!

I missed the part where fault was assigned to the American Airlines pilots. Did the AA crew f-up or was it the helicopter crew?

To be fair you probably weren’t high on ketamine when you were there.

Vice suits him.

It actually gets brought up all the time. It’s not like black victims don’t get counted when tallying shooting deaths. The fact that USA leads the developed world in gun violence gets mentioned ALOT.
December 17, 2024 at 2:34 AM
Bullshit. A mass shooting with a six gun, a bolt action rifle, pump or break barrel shotgun would be far less deadly than a mass shooting involving a semiautomatic with a high capacity magazine. There is no reasonable civilian use for such a weapon.
December 10, 2024 at 10:21 PM
Banning semiautomatic weapons would do a lot to reduce the number of killed and wounded in mass shootings. Why not start there?

The system IS broken. It’s a dice roll, an I place my bets on not getting sick or smashed by a car and hopefully will have some retirement savings on account of it.

Right . Just 3 years of tucking away 16k pretty much covers that 50k bill.
December 9, 2024 at 4:33 PM
If you don’t even use it much then save the 16k/year and just pay out of pocket.

Hmm; if I asked $375/1hr session I could work 3/hrs week and be north of US median income. Healthcare would be nice. I would definitely want a strict STI testing program.

Nobody is arguing that porn is a problem free industry. We’re arguing that it would be worse for everyone if it were made illegal.
December 6, 2024 at 11:39 PM
The point is, if the exploited women wouldn’t even be able to begin to build a case if they were arrested for simply appearing in the films. They would just go to jail for being exploited.
December 6, 2024 at 11:36 PM
Is every exploited fast food worker able to build a legal case? Would society be better if every burger joint operated unregulated on the black market?
December 6, 2024 at 11:32 PM
You’re here arguing that prohibition makes industries safer. Which is super dumb. When sex work is illegal only criminals get to decide what’s safe enough.
December 6, 2024 at 11:31 PM
The government taxes income. Most of us earn income by working. Sex work is work.
December 6, 2024 at 11:24 PM
I just read your article and it kinda proves my point; the man exploiting the models was given a 20 year sentence. Presumably they were awarded damages. If it were the law that appearing in a pornographic film was illegal would any of the women have come forward with accusations?
December 6, 2024 at 11:21 PM
People get exploited all sorts of places doing all sorts of things. It is harder to exploit people when they are working in an industry that is legal and regulated.
December 6, 2024 at 10:59 PM
Your argument is incoherent. If prostitution were legalized it could also be taxed and regulated. There could be standards/inspections for brothels; testing requirements for clients and workers.
