i cant believe they didnt include an "i hate sand" moment

i think its really good and i love jason schwartzman and i normally love what wes anderson does with him BUT i think his casting is the weak link. i just never buy him as this closed off 1950s father for some reason. maybe just the like "these eyes have seen an air fryer" thing

I imagine it more like all of those resources from the OP are being used not to generate but to direct and control that hatred and fear, orienting it along the dimensions that maintain existing power structures and hierarchies... I guess there's no way to really know, though

its a nice thought but to assume conflict and strife and anger and fear are just imposed on us from a state of tranquility and love... i dont know, to me, its very human to have that capacity and maybe even a drive to seek out conflict, struggle, pain

I think I've just fully turned around on it. We were wrong to make fun of boomers, they should be called Dumbphones, its actually just fine to make art where a prisoner's ball and chain has the instagram, facebook, and twitter logos...
