Ok, that didn't quite work so I added an additional quarter inch to the outside of the neckline. That's better- it ended up fitting just the way I wanted it to.

Next, I refined the shape of half of the neckline and measured it. It ended up being six centimeters, so I cut out a triangle with a one centimeter base and traced it onto the neckline.

Rooting is finished, tacky glue is drying, so now I'm making more of the outfit. Specifically, the collar. First, I traced the neckline of the bodice pieces.

Thanks for the promo opportunity! This is Nana Matsumoto- she's the protagonist of my web novel. In the beginning she's deeply in the closet, but she comes to terms with her bisexuality over the course of the story. And then here's Katsuhiro, the transmasc protagonist of her favorite anime.

Rooting is coming along nicely. I'm using much smaller plugs this time.

I'm an architecture enthusiast so I actually really enjoy drawing and painting building interiors/exteriors. In comics, you can kinda cheat by drawing one "establishing shot" to convey where the characters are, then in the next panels you can make the background kinda loose and gestural.

If you struggle with backgrounds/environments because you feel overwhelmed by the amount of detail you have to draw, especially in outdoor scenes, I found this video really helpful
