From the Finale of the Firebird Suite, horns I-IV and trumpet part. The meter switches from 3/2 into 7/4, removing all rhythm into percussive bell-like notes all of the same length as the piece builds to its conclusion.

I LOVE SEATTLE
The new walkway on Seattle's shore, connecting Pike Place market to pier 62. Skyscrapers rise up in the background against the azure sky as tourists enjoy walking around and sitting by the water. A small soccer field on the pier hosts children playing ball.

Tried my hand at shooting Lomography Turquoise film, on my canonet rangefinder.

It was certainly a time, and most of the photos aren't terribly well exposed! I've certainly learned a lot about what to do next time, though.
A couple walks across the broad stone parapet of an old fort on Whidbey island, looking over the Puget sound towards the mountains in the distance. The film makes the sky look orange, and gives the stone under their feet a blue cast. Streaks of clouds in soft whites soar high over the waves and the mountains. An academic research building, of modern tiled stone walls and glass. A column of glass walls sticks out from the stone walls, where meeting rooms with views of campus are set. The top of the image is filled with bright sky, and while the top floor window glass reflects it, darkness gathers going towards the bottom of the image. A shot of the moon, during the UW cherry blossom bloom. The turquoise Lomo film gives an orange cast to the sky, turning the pink cherry blossoms closer to blue. The green pine trees remain unchanged. The image has a grainy quality to it, evoking an exposure from long ago; maybe even when the trees were first given as a gift nigh on 90 years ago. A shot of a classroom and research building at the university of washington. The sky above is tinted orange by the film's unique exposure, and the originally orange bricks of the building are given a blue cast.
