That dlc is genuinely a banger though

Like i want something akin to sea of thieves with actual progression like black flags why cant we have such a game

It pains me everyday we pnly have a handful of good pirate games

Honestly yeah thats pretty fair
4 feels like a tech demo for how 5 plays out and expands on everything 4 did but better
I always just forget the plot due to how inconsequential it feels compared to the other mainlines

Thats what i love about yakuza as much as it has interconeccting plots you can also play most of them as their own games with how they tey and keep a self contained plot

Granted, I never recommended skipping a yakuza game i love all of them
But 4 has the least impact for kiryu out of all the mainline games

Kinda like you really only miss out of fan service for the most part with returning charaxters but each game does a decent job at recapping what happened
Id say you can begin feom anywhere between 0-3 and atill pick up enough story to like the character you can skip 4 entirely but play 5 before 6

Like if you only plan on playing kh1 2 and 3 at the very least watch the stories for the other games in release order so you aint confused

Im trynna think of other games that youd really begin at the start and yeah only KH comes to mind like theres so much shit that they never reexplain later on that other games do in their sequel
So they can get the most bang for the story
