ICE was created by separating the office workers of the INS from the enforcement arm. It made it less intimidating to go to the INS, which made everything easier and more efficient for everyone. Turning ICE into a goon squad was a bad idea. But making the INS like the DMV was a good one.

Locking people up is expensive. Locking people up humanely is much more expensive. The drive to empty mental hospitals in the 60's was driven by the sheer awfulness of those places, and it takes willful blindness to blame it on Reagan.

I want my political party to have such a deep bench that nobody's indispensable. As opposed to the GOP with Mr. "Only I can fix it" in the Oval Office.

Global warming was discovered and studied before anyone in this video was even born. If it's a hoax, the hoax goes way further back. Yet none of you geniuses can name the scientist who started it.
