I am hardly going to defend the speculum and this is a huge pain that shouldn't be necessary, but it may be worth trying to find a doctor who DOES believe you, because there are possible things that can help (which will, I'm sorry, also be very annoying to pursue)

It's actually extremely traditional, by which I mean there's a long history of women making money and earning fame by telling other women to stay home! And they somehow get away with the paradox every time.

Wicked actually very much follows a classical musical structure but it's set up between Elphaba and Glinda instead of between two romantic leads.
Splitting the movie into two parts and splitting up some of the songs with dialogue does undermine this though.

I actually went to CWRU, but theory was taught through CIM, so I'm still blaming them for fixed do haha

The policies of the state legislature aren't meaningless, but as far as where people actually live yeah absolutely (and it works the other way too, my state is red but my city isn't)
