A local grocery store has recently installed these large planters so that unhoused people can't sit in this otherwise unused shady spot on hot summer days and they didn't even have the decency to water the plants, so now it's both ugly and anti-community!

I just helped an older gentleman who was walking with an assistive device cross Elgin at Laurier; due to his slower pace, he was too nervous to cross by himself because of yesterday's fatality at the corner. No one should have to worry about crossing the street downtown or anywhere else in the city.

I just helped an older gentleman who was walking with an assistive device cross Elgin at Laurier; due to his slower pace, he was too nervous to cross by himself because of yesterday's fatality at the corner. No one should have to worry about crossing the street downtown or anywhere else in the city.
Defund the police. Elect a mayor who actually represents Ottawa and acts in the issues we need resolved.
Better outreach services.
Proper Transit.
More emergency housing.
More affordable housing.
Better climate initiatives.
Not more fucking overpaid, high school bullies in blue.
