That jelly/jam/preserves (marmalade can fuck right off into the sun) has to be a meager strip of sweet against an avalanche of stick to the roof of your mouth creamy peanut butter (crunchy is sub optimal). Just enough to want more, not enough to distract. Bread should be cheap AF.

I never really liked the Schwarzenegger version because it was so far removed from the book. I've heard this one is closer in tone but the ending has changed, which is probably for the best seeing how it was so nihilistic.

The wooden monsters are fairly well established and I'm super proud of the desk I made for my son. But this was the first story I wrote that felt fully realized.

I mean, is it any different than music? I'm still mad that "...And Justice for All" wasn't "Master of Puppets 2," which itself was arguably "Ride the Lightning 2," and I've grown to like/love that album.

It is and it isn't. I haven't had a chance to make fine furniture this year which sucks. But I've got about a month left before I close up the shop for the year and one more project on the docket so I'd probably be panicking while shoveling shit against the tide if the job came through.
