Go read @explorersdesign.bsky.social's 3rd entry in his ENNIES debrief.

The awards have always felt arcane to me in a way that I never really understood why certain games sank and swam or were nominated for categories that didn't make sense.

Well worth your time!

An insider's look into the 2025 Ennie Awards. Part three. How does the structure of the Ennies determine its outcomes? And what does it mean for others?

Alright, the first in-depth article of my awards debrief is live. "How do the Ennies work?" A top-down look at my judging experience from A to Z.

Please share, leave comments, and ask questions. And don't forget to read part 1 if you haven't already.

I'm amazed by the book spine stitching, just excited that a project like this can be so nice and especially excited as a book and paper dork

Well, it's about time that I find someone to give money in exchange for the production of a cool logo for an upcoming project.

Hoping this is worded enough to not summon bots and spam. But if this is something you do, reach out with rates and samples!

when we say dream big we do mean within reason, we didn't want to make this project creep too large, so our new stretch goals are just format upgrades for existing parts of the Glatisant Kickstarter

That being said we really are blown away for our first campaign and our dreams are trying to keep up
graftbound.bsky.social
Your consistent support has let us really dream big for this project, because we’re adding two new stretch goals!

At $8k, we’ll switch from soft enamel to hard enamel pins.

At $10K, we'll upgrade the cover finish to matte anti-scuff lamination

Book Cover Artists Quote Re Post with your covers!

For me these are ttrpg covers
Glatisant book cover, where the cover is split into several boxes with diamond borders, inside each box is on object, ranging from flags, and knight helms, to hoof prints and antlers, representing the Knight and Beast that players take on in the game Cover of Beloved by Jon Boyle featuring two hands with the backs close to each other, almost touching. There is a yellow string tied to a finger on each hand gently draped connecting the two hands. Precious Things cover. The majority of the cover are desaturated colorful geometric shapes or collections of shapes each contained to the same square size. Inside one on the bottom left corner is a dragon, inside a circle on the top right corner is a pin cushion and a button. In the center is the title "Precious Things: a game of tiny dragons making cozy hoards" Mushie Missions Trifold Cover in the style of an old scientific journal. Under the title "Mushie Missions" is a box containing illustrations of three mushrooms with faces, leaves and an animals footprint, each labeled like figures in a science diagram.

It looks like the rpg designers are back from summer break, because this month's issue of The Explorateur is over-encumbered with designer reviews, advice, and resources.

What should I do for the anniversary issue next month?

Happy #SoloRPGDay! Though it's built for two players, the single player experience in our game Glatisant is part of the original Carta system. Play as the Knight Errant seeking the silent Beast and after the game determine the Beast's true motivations for your Knight.
A banner image for Glatisant's solo mode. The text reads "Play as the Knight following the trail of the silent Beast. Answer questions about the Beast's motives at the end of the game." The text is flanked by deer-like tracks with cloven hoof marks, as well as a pennant-shaped flag.

I really like them, I'm about to start a new one in the "fox" color. The built in index is so handy
