To be fair to him, he's hardly played. But when given opportunities, he hasn't taken them. He's also not showing much in training otherwise he'd be on the bench more. Realistically though, would we pay money for someone else just to sit on the bench, and the increased wage which comes with that.

Plus we only went out on penalties. Not even a real defeat. We know we can play better, we've seen it against teams in our league. Beat Cheltenham and this will be forgotten

From the small sample I've seen, he's no better than Ness. Platt, Macari, Rod and Bedeau all ahead of him. He's 5th choice. But, better to have him for squad depth on probably a small wage contribution. Likely better than any youth teamers.

Definitely. I maintain he's comfortably the best keeper we've had over the last 5-10 years outside of Bass and Patterson. If he didn't have those deficiencies in his command of area and distribution, he's be nowhere near League Two
