Still don't know who brewed this for me, but I love my deck and it popped off in a major way (helped a bit by other players ramping everyone for 7) in pod one! Pod two is under way with one more afterwards! I'll likely be asleep at the end of stream so I'll have to find out my gifter in the morning!

I love this tradition and I love these people. These two decks, designed for and gifted to me in past years (life drain vampires by @cmassive13.bsky.social and Muppet Christmas Carol theme deck by @tappytoeclaws.bsky.social ), are two of my most treasured decks and I'm so excited to add a third.

I love this tradition and I love these people. These two decks, designed for and gifted to me in past years (life drain vampires by @cmassive13.bsky.social and Muppet Christmas Carol theme deck by @tappytoeclaws.bsky.social ), are two of my most treasured decks and I'm so excited to add a third.
I was SHOCKED when my sight read runs of the Unbeatable track for Rift of the Necrodancer had me in 4th/7th place on the Easy/Medium charts 24hr after release. But after replaying Medium a couple times without learning patterns, I realized I had remix mode on 🙃

How do you all remember your first 4? I know Meren was my first precon, and Elenda was the first deck I built--switching to Teysa after learning Elenda's death trigger didn't work (at the time). But I don't know #3 and #4 since I have no idea what order I built Brass, Gishath, Arixmethes, and Ayara.

Bringing back Spark Elemental every turn. But also my only Human is Guan Yu and I use Altar of Dementia to whittle down my deck until he's the only card. Brass Squire can give him a Grafted Exoskeleton each loop, as a treat.

I love that Tamiyo (and the Ral from the same cycle), but these two from the first real year of borderless cards have really never been surpassed for me.

Incidentally, while finding the words for my feelings on those 2, my favorite @juliedillon.bsky.social piece sprang to mind, which in turn reminded me of another Magic art I love... and when I went to pull it up, I was amused to realize all 3 are Steven Belledin. Gonna go scroll through the rest...

Incidentally, while finding the words for my feelings on those 2, my favorite @juliedillon.bsky.social piece sprang to mind, which in turn reminded me of another Magic art I love... and when I went to pull it up, I was amused to realize all 3 are Steven Belledin. Gonna go scroll through the rest...
There are a few pieces that I find darkly entrancing and cannot look away from, such as Ad Nauseam and Gaze of Pain. But these two were among the first pieces that mesmerized me when I got into the game. Neither is realistically gory but for the implication, the dread of which keeps me staring.

Having spent years failing to successfully figure out the theme of @specialbeamcannon.bsky.social's Princess Lucrezia theme deck, I have decided to make my own.
I'm not sure how esoteric my theme is, but every card *and token* fits. Sideboard is alt versions that fit.

Veteran Explorer is just my favorite t1 play atm. Great chump blocker, fine early attacker, and most of all, as an unabashed Howling Mine gamer slash Games Gotta End aficionado, all I want is for everyone's deck to do The Thing faster.
