You could break it down into several small papers to send off for publication. It's always worth shooting your shot (as long as that's within your bandwidth).

I've been made fun of more than once for taking notes. Half the time projects aren't published for years though, and this reminds me what folks are working on that I'm interested in. But also focus, because crochet is not yet acceptable APA audience behavior as far as I know.
