🆕 Year-on-year #food inflation in the #OECD rose to 5.0% in August, up from 4.5% in July, reaching its highest level since February 2024.

In August, food price levels in the OECD were 45.8% higher than in December 2019.

🆕Year-on-year inflation in the #OECD, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), remained stable at 4.1% in August 2025.

Inflation rose in 15 countries, declined in 13, and was stable or broadly stable in the remaining 10.

🆕 G20 #GDP growth rises to 0.9% in Q2 2025, up from 0.7% in Q1.

While growth picked up slightly, it remained within the relatively narrow range of 0.7% to 0.9% recorded in preceding quarters. However, the picture was mixed among #G20 countries.

🆕 The OECD #unemployment rate remained stable at 4.9% in July 2025, having been at or below 5.0% since April 2022.

Compared with June, unemployment rates were unchanged in 20 #OECD countries, declined in 11 (notably in Greece and Norway) and increased in Ireland and Sweden.
