In more specific terms, Democrats want to win elections by thinking that the country is all like California and New York. As long as they don't understand how rural America thinks and how to get the message across, they won't win and could disappear.

The political viability of the Democrats lies in moving not to the right but to the middle. Voting for a Treasury Secretary who openly says he is not in favor of raising the minimum wage does not help them much in that process. I don't doubt that a third moderate party could emerge from this mess.

The Chinese still need Nvidia chips and big data centers, but Deepseek is open source and free, so US software companies will have to look for some other ways to make money with AI.

I had issues with my internet provider. I could only watch the fights on my cell phone with 5G, so the problem wasn't Netflix.
