This isn't an account I normally ever see the timeline of - I only use it for dunking purposes. It seems that I accidentally followed a garbage starter pack. Solved that by unfalling all
Imagine voluntarily stealing from authors who make fucking nothing - steal all the garbage Malcolm gladwell stuff you want but pirating from less commercially successful authors is the same thing is training AI on people's art - straight theft that makes people's lives worse.
Nope, super duper wrong on that - as anyone who has shipped a mid-sized title that uses advanced anti-tamper in the last three years can verify for you. Making piracy dramatically worse does, in fact, drive a non-zero amount of sales.
As someone who knows more than a little bit about how fraudsters think and how real world fraud works, this is basically stealing from people who have actual subject matter knowledge and replacing them with simplistic systems that - once a fraudster masters - instantly auths all fraud.

Yeah, I guess we are different. I don't share those views (except for disliking AI) so I couldn't understand your motivations. Now I get it, despite still disagreeing.
??? uBlock Origin never allowed 'approved' ads through AFAIK?
Not going to use an ad blocker that needs Google's approval to update lists - that's too easy for anti-adblock to deal with - but I will switch browsers instead :(
