my guess is that maybe they felt like going with the proprietary style would appeal to a broader audience. jus thinking that maybe this isn't for me, and that's okay :)

tbh like i would have just been cool if they gave her less/no makeup, but they just keep giving her a glam face ;w; like this was also my issue with the multiversus model before too...like pls give her her thin lips and cat-mouth back haha

that's fair! :) i think for me, it just feels like a missed opportunity to use some of the more recognizable cartoon designs for the gang

yeah i don't get it either. they were able to translate other cartoon characters more faithfully, but opted for this style for the gang

i was hyped for the scooby fortnite collab (i've never played, so i considered playing for the first time), but that velma model is kind of a letdown. sorry 😭 possibly boomer opinion, but i wish devs would stop yassifying her face whenever they translate the character into 3D for games

yeah ive been thinking abt it too bc not everyone will have the time to replay it, and some people are just the type to be one and done about games. however, i do think that it's an interesting format of storytelling that's appropriate for survival horror, especially for a silent hill game :)
