Naive art has existed for over a century- we’ve had more than a full human lifetime of enshrinement of ‘this is not being made solely for other people to like or buy’.

I’m not happy about his death because I would have preferred we could agree it should happen before he had a hand in building the ‘debate me’ wing of modern fascist rhetoric. I’m sad that the damage is already done.
