Meanwhile organisations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and George Soros’ Open Society Foundation which are effectively political lobby groups in which billionaires park their money to avoid paying taxes still enjoy tax exemptions.

Is it too harsh to require that the next 'leader of the free world' know that we don’t capitalise common nouns?

Maybe I’m just being a pedant.

That’s what happened to most of the innocent people who were picked up in Middle Eastern countries and imprisoned in Guantanamo for years w/o trial or due process.

It’s just happening on US soil as well now.

Agree with the sentiment that what we let happen to others, eventually happens to us.

You’re the best. Thanks for getting back to me.

Yeah because all these things are probably what his Russian compadres sent him to do. In which case, a well earned break.

lol thanks Thor. I needed this chuckle.

The 20 year-old university debating me really thought Ben Shapiro was a genius. Adult me realises now there’s a reason he only debates college kids with zero life experience and still developing critical thinking skills.

Also - reminder to never equate eloquence with intelligence.

Look I’m not against import tariffs in principle - they’re useful in temporarily protecting nascent industries from foreign competition & most countries use them in some shape or form.

Butttt… why is Trump acting like it wasn’t the US that knowingly and willingly destroyed domestic manufacturing?

Thank you for the useful and wholesome content. I eat beans (kidney, butter, haricot) and other legumes like 4-5 times a week. They are a high protein, high nutrient, high fibre, no cholesterol superfood. Love!

Let’s split the difference - USA is larger by nominal GDP. China is larger by PPP-adjusted GDP.

Trademarking this term! Love it.

The bluntness of this really tickled me.

Coming together or “reconciliation” requires all parties to acknowledge what they did and why. W/o an honest account there can be no room for the trust that is a prerequisite for community.

Many Trump voters were not *lied* to. His record (racist, predator) has been 100% clear for a long time.

Just popped in to say China had the largest global economy before Opium Wars (1839-42) - a devious war devised by the Brits.

Point being ppl talk of China’s “recent” emergence but that’s not really accurate. They have returned to the position they always had after a short hiatus.

This is scary. What is the name of the detention centre? Gotta look this up.

Hear me out - the CIA used to infiltrate movements it considered “subversive” and had its agents use violence or other extremism to give justification for coming down hard on those movements.

These people causing this damage to the car feel like they don’t belong in the march…

Saaaame. Imho a lot of people worshipped Elon not because they knew much about him but because he represents the “American dream” of making it filthy rich. (Nvm that he was born rich from SA colonial money).

A lot of these “Alpha” male red-pill leaders pretend like they made their money from their “genius” business acumen but really they make it from exploiting women in one way or another. In Andrew Tate’s case he was a pimp and sex trafficker.

Not sure why people wear the “I buy from whoever, I’m not into politics” as a badge of honour. That’s nothing to be proud of. Our purchasing choices reflect our values because those choices have an impact on other people.
