Flooding is hitting home. Nature-based solutions work: trees intercept rain, build sponge-like soils, cut runoff and erosion. Support upstream woodland and wetland projects, and ask councils for natural flood management. Trees won’t stop every flood, but they can lower peaks and buy us time

De Cymru’n teimlo’r llifogydd. Mae coed yn rhan o’r ateb: maen nhw’n amsugno glaw, yn dal llethrau’r cymoedd ynghyd, ac yn arafu dŵr cyn iddo daro ein hafonydd. Plannwch goeden, cefnogwch wrychoedd, adferwch wlyptiroedd. Gall natur helpu i gadw ein strydoedd yn sych. Mwy o goed, llai o lifogydd.

Dim ond 516 o bleidleisiau a gawsom yn is-etholiad Caerffili — ond wnaethom argraff enfawr
Treblwyd ein haelodaeth leol yn ystod yr ymgyrch, cawsom sylw yn y wasg, ac rydyn ni wedi adeiladu tîm cryf i barhau i dyfu.
Nid cam yn ôl yw hwn — ond dechrau.

Knocking on doorstep people said “Instead of funding plush shop fronts. If there’s money to bankroll party politics, there must be money to keep schools, hospitals, public transport and our environment running. The Green Party is clear: public money should serve the people – not the parties. 🌱

“Mae’n amlwg o’r canfasio heddiw fod pobl eisiau newid go iawn. Mae’r gefnogaeth i hawliau a chyfiawnder yn tyfu’n rymus. 🟢 Pleidleisiwch Werdd.”

“It’s clear from today’s conversations on the doorstep coupled with a substantial growth in Green membership that people want change – and it’s inspiring to see so many standing up for rights and fairness. #VoteGreen

Reform UK are pushing immigration hard as an issue in the Caerphilly by-election.

Just for context, Caerphilly has the THE LOWEST, immigration rate of all Wales' 22 councils.

97.1% of people there were born in the UK.

Only Cardiff and Newport have move that 10% born overseas.

Llenwodd y Tour of Britain Gaerffili heddiw — yn dangos nad camp yn unig yw beicio, ond ateb. Aer glanach, llai o draffig, bywydau iachach. Gadewch i ni fuddsoddi mewn llwybrau diogel + teithio llesol i wneud y weledigaeth honno’n barhaol.

Y DU yn cydnabod Palesteina o’r diwedd , ond dylid atal gwerthu arfau i Israel ar unwaith hefyd.

Unwaith roedd y Cymoedd yn rhoi llyfrgelloedd i bobl gweithio allu dysgu, tyfu, a threfnu — crud undebau llafur a gwerthoedd Llafur. Pa eironi chwerw mai cyngor Llafur sy’n eu cau heddiw.

Once the Valleys gave us libraries so working people could learn, grow, and organise — the cradle of trade unionism and Labour values. How bitterly ironic that it’s now a Labour council shutting them down. Standing up for our Community – Not Party Politics that’s the Green way

Rhybudd hinsawdd 🌍🔥

Mae’r byd ar y trywydd i godi 2.5°C–3°C erbyn 2100. Byddwn yn pasio 1.5°C erbyn y 2030au.

Newid hinsawdd = llifogydd, colli natur, bwyd yn ddrutach.
Ond gallwn weithredu nawr i amddiffyn ein cymunedau. #NewidHinsawdd #CymruWerdd

The first time I covered Dafydd Elis-Thomas was in 1962, at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis. In Penrhyndeudraeth, he gave a speech following a CND rally to Bertrand Russell’s home. The world was on edge, but Dafydd spoke with clarity and conviction. The start of a remarkable career.

Dafydd Elis-Thomas went from activist to MP to Assembly Member, but he never changed his core beliefs. He was always frank, principled, and unafraid of the consequences. Agree with him or not, you had to respect his integrity.

Beyond politics, Dafydd was excellent company. I shared many a convivial drink and meal with him over the years. Sharp-witted, engaging, and never dull. He proved you don’t have to be boring to achieve in politics!

Looking back at that night in 1962, I see the thread that ran through his whole career. He never backed down from the big questions and never took the easy path. Whether as a rebel or a statesman, Dafydd left a lasting legacy. A life less ordinary.

6️⃣ Ei etifeddiaeth? Gonestrwydd, egwyddor, a chymeriad. Roedd Dafydd Elis-Thomas yn ddyn a arhosodd yn driw i’w gredoau—ac am hynny, byddaf bob amser yn ei barchu ac yn ei gofio.

5️⃣ Roedd ei allu i gyfuno ymrwymiad gwleidyddol difrifol â phersonoliaeth fywiog yn brawf nad oes rhaid bod yn ddiflas i lwyddo mewn bywyd cyhoeddus.

4️⃣ Y tu hwnt i’r llwyfan cyhoeddus, fe rannom ni lawer o brydau a diodydd hamddenol. Nid oedd Dafydd byth yn ddiflas; roedd bob amser yn ddiddorol ac yn llawn hiwmor.
