While Americans are arguing over gas stoves, debating whether Taylor Swift is part of a Pentagon psy-op, and melting down over who insulted whom on cable news, the rest of the world just quietly built a new financial super bullet train… and guess who’s been laying it with gold-plated spikes and silver rails? That’s right— our very own TrumPedo, the man who can destabilize the global order before finishing his breakfast Diet Coke, somehow helping China accelerate into the economic fast lane while we bicker over culture-war crumbs and ugly old bird killing windmills…

BRICS— the geopolitical group chat consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa— decided to roll out an international payment system that bypasses the US dollar entirely. You know, that thing America has relied on for the last 50 years to maintain global influence without having to actually do anything? It’s like rebuilding those old steam-engines our little Pedo so much loves. That’s the financial system BRICS just replaced with one powered largely by an aero train like Renminbi currency replacing the like Coalbrookdale Locomotive Dollar— that soon will not be taking America anywhere fast.

And what has been TrumPedo doing while this “quiet earthquake” unfolded?
Probably accusing the LED lights of spying on him. Or insisting Xi Jinping sends him “the most beautiful letters.” Or bragging that tariffs make America money, like a man proudly announcing he’s figured out how a toaster works.

Meanwhile, ( shout out to @The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ) 185 countries can now trade with each other using their own currencies, sidestepping the US dollar like it’s a suspicious puddle of piss at Mar-a-Lago. China, the quiet overachiever forced to sit through Trump’s rambling monologues for four years, is now cashing….

I am done with Dems— like the republican counterparts— they don’t give a Fucking damn about Healthcare— AMAF they just crapped all over themselves— The extension of health insurance subsidies that are slated to expire at the end of the year, sending premiums soaring for millions of Americans.

Anyway— on the other side of the circus aisle — a cluster of Democratic senators have finally decided that after forty straight days of a government shutdown, it might be time to stop watching federal workers bleed cash and national functions quietly collapse. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Angus King emerged from a closed-door meeting to announce that the party blockade is cracking, not out of victory, but from fatigue.
Not buying one f’n bit of it… None of it— nada Senator King, visibly exhausted like a man who has just tried reasoning with a brick wall for six weeks, summed it up bluntly: “We’re not getting what we want, and in the meantime, a lot of people are being hurt.” The moral high ground is lovely until enough people freeze to death on it. What a f’n idiot. It’s like taking a pain pill to cure an appendicitis attack…
This means Republicans may finally scrape together the 60 votes they have been desperately fumbling around for while pretending they were “just one inspirational floor speech away” from a breakthrough.
There will, of course, be a dramatic Sunday vote, because what better way to symbolize government than forcing everyone to log overtime just to put out a fire someone else started for sport.
Senator Tim Kaine— bless his practical, once-bitten optimism— announced he’ll support the deal because it guarantees back pay and reverses some shutdown layoffs. That’s so f’n nice. A Band-Aid is better than no Band-Aid, even if the person who cut the artery is still standing there holding the knife. Or maybe he will do what he always does— if you’re lucky— just rip off the bandaid.
But not everyone is ready to play along.
Schumer emerged from the same meeting, a man who has spent weeks trying to negotiate with a political party whose strategy is essentially, “We’ll see what Trump tweets,” and declared: “I am a no.” He’s still clinging to the hope that someone, somewhere, remembers how legislation works. But he most likely recalls his last surrender
