Apparently there is plenty of money to go around and be used to do good right here at home. How do I know? Because instead of using his influence with the rich to do good at home, the supposed leader of the free world takes $1,000,000 per plate for a lavish private dinner to line his own pockets.

If anyone on this thread is interested, I am a fantasy player since 1988 and commissioner since 1991. I have started an inexpensive, easy to follow Sleeper dynasty and have 4 remaining slots for honest, active and courteous players. More info below, DM if interested.

This is a startup super flex dynasty, TE Bonus of .5, $25 buy-in collecting first two seasons up front, subsequently a season in advance each year, non-playoff teams slotted for future rookie drafts using “Maximum Points For” (MPF). Full draft (vets and rookies) 8 hour clock.

Reading about a United States Senator terrified of retribution from President Trump - I am reminded of a quote from a fictional politician in the 1995 movie “The American President.”

“… I was so busy keeping my job I forgot to do my job…”

We need better.

That movie quote says it all, I recall that line and it has aged quite well. Hey there, all you elected officials (especially those in the US congress): DO YOUR JOB!!

I’m restricted by the character allotment to be able to tell the whole (often well documented) story. The replacement was much thinner than the average Santa and looked awful in the suit. He already had a few adult beverages and was quite tipsy. Angry (drunk?) fans booed and threw snowballs.

Let’s get the story straight once and for all: the fans were not booing Santa that day. They were booing the last minute replacement for the professional Santa who was a no-show due to the bad, snowy weather. He was too small for the costume, his beard kept falling off and HE fell off repeatedly.

In fact I would wager that it was the fans of the orange messiah who booed Taylor Swift.
