I then wanted to check out an Idolm@s game and learned that a new mobile title had just been released in 2024. Playing Umamusume made the onboarding experience much easier. I've been playing for some time now and have found myself enjoying the game daily.

Playing Gakumasta was actually a result of playing Oreshika and looking into what influenced the latter which meant dipping into Derby Stallion. I thought it would be interesting to then pair DS with Umamusume since both are ostensibly horse-raising sims. However, I didn't quite take to Umamusume.

Last year, I dove into Matsuda's entire work and loved it. Have you watched A Beast to Die? It kickstarts the period which he begins to upend the persona he built. Kagero-za is also particularly excellent in that regard as well.
