Fun fact: My rescue once had a potbellied pig. A rat colony (4, in total, for a short while) had moved into a hay bale in her pen. I don’t mind rats so I moved the bale away from the pen & let the rats do their thing.

Then this guy showed up.

Now? Zero rats. 1 owl.

Life finds a way.

Turkey Leg is one of my smallest. And also the meanest. Bane cage required for vet visits. I am the only human in the world she will let touch her toesies. What a handful, this one.

I run an animal rescue that currently has 11 dogs and 6 cats. It feels important to introduce my 22 followers to Beans, who turns 19 in April. She’s snuggly, but also kind of a cunt. I love her more than anything.

My weiner dog named Turkey. I never added a last name, but the vet tech added “Leg” to her file for some reason, thus the full gov’t name Turkey Leg was born.

Pretty sure the world deserves to meet my blind dog, Little Bit.

Book of the Week!

I know most have flown through this series, but I just did a re-read/catch up. This one kicks off a hell of a story that spans 6 books. Fantastic world building. Constantly rooting for the FMC. Interesting romantic tension.
