I love my boss accusing me of not listening, being lazy, wasting time, and being an hr nightmare all because I was just trying to explain why I did something the way I did 🙂 what a happy and lovely uplifting and open atmosphere 🙂

every day I come into work(retail) I want to walk right back out the door

this place makes me so depressed and unhappy and my coworkers also share in that sentiment because this place sucks!!! I'm manifesting a better job opportunity for me please

I think I'm going to try revisiting some old hyperfixations to pinpoint what got me hooked on certain shows art style-wise(think adventure time, owl house, she-ra and tbh steven universe) and try to develop my own style with their influence and guidance

not saying I can't or won't draw stuff more crazy cool complex and detailed, but I'm gonna start letting myself breathe and lay off the pressure I've applied to myself about making mostly art like that because that's why I feel like I've had art block or refuse to draw as much as I used to

drawing more simply brings me joy and I've been beating myself up about it for a long time now because it's not what I feel like people want or what I should be making but

relearning art is for me first and for the public second is something I've struggled with for so long until hopefully right now

going through my own art rennaissance

realizing I don't HAVE to make super realistically drawn/shaded art if that's what stresses me out

I CAN just draw however/whatever makes me happy even if it's not "super complex" which is why I can and will crank out chibi art like it's my job
