Staying cozy on a rainy Saturday and living in the culture from home thanks to THE LEAGUE OF LIVE STREAM THEATER. I'm watching the live stream of Trouble in Mind from Pittsburgh Public Theater from the comfort of my office while I fold laundry and shop for my ballet recital costume.

I was the only attendee from my district, so I got to meet solo with my reps from HD3 and SD4. I also spoke with staffers from Congressman Bell and Senator Creighton's offices about how the arts support education, the economy, and our districts' well-being.

With Houston showing up 50+ strong, we shared powerful stats with legislators like Texas creative industries employ 845,000 people (1 in 15 jobs!) and generate $6 billion for our economy.
