swipe for ways to show your solidarity Why We're Striking
A codified 4-day work week.
We simply want to protect the way we've been working for over 3.5 years. The 4dww has proven benefits, such as increased productivity and improved employee satisfaction. It's part of what makes Kickstarter a special, innovative place to work.
Fair pay for our lowest-paid workers.
We're fighting for livable minimum salaries for roles that are undervalued by the market but crucial to keeping Kickstarter running. We believe none of our workers should struggle to make ends meet. Creators

Medicare will start requiring prior approval for certain procedures — and will hire private AI companies to determine if patients are covered.

The AI companies would have financial incentives to deny claims, because Medicare plans to pay them some of the savings from rejections.

Could Trump, a fellow who’s ignorant about so much, be trusted to make the correct and difficult decisions on AI?

It was a conversation the American public didn’t have.

Now that he's in that position, he's letting Big Tech run wild—as long as its chatbots accept his lies.

Private equity chooses to bury & mismatch key data, making it harder for investment professionals to see what assets are really worth. If experts can’t decipher reports, how can everyday workers judge whether to risk their 401(k) and retirement savings?

Meiselas: A MAGA anti-vax extremist opened fire on the CDC, killing a heroic Black officer. 500 shots fired. Do we hear Trump or JD Vance saying anything?

The Director of the White House Office of Personnel Management just said that all government workers should be “at will” employees.

This comment comes as the Trump administration attacks federal unions and tries to erode workers' rights.
