I transited through France in 2014 on the Dover/Calais ferry. In the bathroom stalls there were notices about the interlock system being required in France. Seemed like a great idea!

I love this idea! We would put in a heated greenhouse for winter food production. The concept is similar to paying farmers to allow solar installations on their land and then grazing sheep under them.

If the stated goal is 1 million deportations per year, then a week to accomplish "hundreds" of arrests is a failure, isn't it? A happy failure, from my perspective, but still.

Those fossil fuels are only cheap because we don't include the externalities. Nuclear power is remarkably inexpensive and safe compared to fossil fuels.
