Fox’s Jesse Watters: “The fact that Canada 🇨🇦 doesn’t want us to take them over makes me want to invade. I want to quench my imperialist thirst.”

I can’t wait for the quotes that come out of the inevitable fall out between Trump and Muskrat.
Gonna see shit like:
Trump:”Who made you the president??!”

It's extremely important that actions like this are not praised nor normalized. You can't have a society thinking extrajudicial actions are in anyway justified because of certain outcomes.
Josh Shapiro: "In America, we do not kill people in cold blood to resolve policy differences or express a viewpoint ... I have no tolerance, nor should anyone, for one man using an illegal ghost gun to murder someone because he thinks his opinion matters most ... he is no hero."

We need our provincial governments and federal government to come together in a Team Canada approach to deal with President-elect Trump’s threat of tariffs, which would destroy our economy.

Instead, Premier Smith prefers to engage in performative fights.

Wait does Trump think thousands of people are pouring over from Canada cause the countries share "open boarders" ?
November 26, 2024 at 7:57 PM
Doug Ford sounded so hurt when addressing the press about Trump's 25% tariffs, it was kinda funny lol.
November 26, 2024 at 7:51 PM
Trump's tariffs are really really bad for Canadians. We get a lot of energy imports from south of the border. About 80% of Refined petroleum products are imported from America.
Everything is about to become so expensive.

How will the UCP cope with this
BREAKING: Donald Trump says he will impose a 25% tariff on all goods from Mexico and Canada and an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods, effective from his first day in office.

Get ready for higher prices.

Is price gouging the real problem? I find it hard to believe that the answer to higher prices is simply "cooperate greed".
In Canada, total inflation has been 17.67% (Bank of Canada) since 2020, and CPI on food has been up by 19.9% according to Statistics Canada.
