I think of it like they go to sleep in the OG timeline and wake up in a new body with a new life theyve always lived. Its the exact same person deep down cause the Fracture can't rewrite that. Kinda like the movie Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, but they are actually the same person.

So if in the Fractured Timeline, Elspeth never died on Theros, Calix must still somehow exist in the Fractured Timeline because he exists in the Original Timeline, even though the events that led to his creation never happened. Like what if the Reality Fracture cannot erase people, only events.

Though this makes me think what if every person in the Original Timeline must exist somehow in the Reality Fracture timeline.

Im waiting until we see how the alternate-universe selves work (is it a flip of alignment/morals or a what if the character-defining traumatic event[s] never happened? Like white-aligned Lili could mean either of those things)

Yeah the Oko Problem is the only thing that I think can't be solved with more chapters
