When Jerry was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he received a compressed schedule of radiation therapy which used techniques that he helped develop during his time as a medical physicist. He hails this accelerated form of treatment as a life-changing advancement. #changedmylife

Working in the leukemia clinic as part of his MD/PhD training let Andy see how big of an impact advancements in genomics are making. Seeing this link between research and the clinic has further motivated Andy as a clinician-scientist. #changedmylife
