The Herbert family kicked off OJEN’s year-end fundraising campaign on October 25 with their annual Tate’s Tableaux. The event raised over $8,000 in support of OJEN’s justice education initiatives.

OJEN’s Board of Directors, staff & guests met on for the 23rd Annual General Meeting. Thanks to the efforts of staff, volunteers, funders, partners and friends, this year saw OJEN continue to expand justice education initiatives that are youth-centered and relevant to diverse youth audiences.

The Police Resource Outreach Supporting Education (PROSE) Writing Team, consisting of educators from the Grand Erie District School Board and police officers from local police services, became the first group ever to receive the Chief Justices' Award.

OJEN is pleased to partner with the Black Female Lawyers Network in sponsoring 30 BIPOC young women to attend the Sistah’s in Law annual retreat. Participants will attend this event where they will learn about careers in law and connect with Black women in law.
