I am proud of the growth I've made in this class with engaging with art on a deeper level. I think I have more respect for art as well than I previously did before this class. I think tweeting is also a perfect way to engage a beginner with a subject such as this with art. #ConArtInSitu

In my opinion also, anime and manga's visual styles and themes deeply impact contemporary art. They bring vibrant, expressive techniques and complex narratives that inspire artists across various mediums, pushing the boundaries of creativity and cultural storytelling. #ConArtInSitu

Artists can carry on a conversation with other artists through their work. By referencing, responding to, and building upon each other's creations. I think the day we see two artists who are living at the same time and creating work to talk to each other is the day we will be... #ConArtInSitu

For practical reasons footnotes and citations are very useful for academics who are resourceful in finding information, because sometimes they are a short cut. But sometimes I feel like they are useless because we go into works of writing looking for a certain intepretation. #ConArtInSitu

On the other hand, art that references other art respects and acknowledges its source while adding new dimensions which I emphasize in my own opinion I guess. The interplay between old and new deepens our understanding gives more multifaceted engagement with the artwork. #ConArtInSitu

The contrast lies in how remixes can dilute the original's impact, while art references can enhance and expand the conversation, offering fresh interpretations and deeper appreciation. #ConArtInSitu

In contrast, I love art that references other art because it builds on and transforms the original work, it creates a visual a dialogue that enriches both pieces with new layers of meaning. #ConArtInSitu

With regard to remixes, I guess suprisingly or not suprisingly I hate them honestly. 9.5 times of 10 I think it ruins the work of art that is created with a song. Especially nowadays when I feel as if artists are picked based off popularity rather than fit with the vibe of the song. #ConArtInSitu

I think in a way some of the tweets I have made relating anime to works of art kind of shows that and also that there is a possible connection between art and a lot of aspects of life. #ConArtInSitu

It's not possible to exhaust all of the meanings in a work of art because interpretations can evolve with new perspectives, contexts, and personal experiences, keeping the dialogue around it perpetually open-ended. #ConArtInSitu

Originality isn't always a prerequisite for art, but it often defines the impact and significance of a work, and distinguishes it from other works of art. #ConArtInSitu

There is a strong relationship between originality and art. Originality drives artistic creation especially in my view of contemporary art. It seems like part of the reason contemporary art is contemporary. #ConArtInSitu

Originality is crucial in art, because it reflects creativity and innovation. But then again is it ever acheivable especially at this point in time. Do we need to present art in different mediums to create a space and possibility for originality? #ConArtInSitu

The space away from the work influences perception. Viewing environment, context, and presentation can alter how art is experienced and interpreted. #ConArtInSitu

These two pieces I think really highlight maybe what the biophilia exhibit was trying to bring when DAM opened it. Especially with art being incorporated into architecture with the inspiration of nature. #ConArtInSitu

This interactive installation, with its blooming and withering flowers, beautifully shows the connection between people and nature. Standing still makes the flowers grow, while movement makes them fade, highlighting our integral role in nature. #ConArtInSitu

"Lightweeds" features digital organisms that react in real time to live weather data like sun, rain, and wind. I also get a sense of youth when I look at the image. #ConArtInSitu

I think this has to be the most impressive work of art I have seen this far. It’s not my favorite piece but for some reason I can’t help but appreciate how impressive it was. #ConArtInSitu

There isn't 'normal' art. But I think our thought of normal art at least for me is something similar to the Mona Lisa. That I would say is my staple or was my staple at least. Art is diverse and subjective, reflecting a vast range of experiences, styles, and perspectives. #ConArtInSitu
