Cloudy blue sky above a small island covered with conifers. A green mountain lurks behind it. When the tide is low enough a land bridge is uncovered and walking out becomes an option. You can get there from the outer point trail on Douglas Island, which is across the bridge from Juneau. You have to know the tides. If you linger too long swimming back or waiting for the waters to recede are the only options.
