Point is, Developers do like using it.

Haha, all good! I get what you're saying.

That's where the accountability comes in. The artist creating the new texture for where the placeholder was, should start from scratch.

I don't think any respectable artist would trace ai generated assets.

But I don't know E33's development flow.

It was clearly used as an ideation tool, and probably for code completion also. Just like Larian does.

Any art generated should be replaced by human assets, there should be a pipeline in place for that.

I don't mind AI used as a tool, if principles like transparency and accountability are in place

Got it, then I interpreted it wrong! My bad.

Yeah, custom machine s probably only shown up online in City trail.

I think you can press X when selecting a machine to select your custom one.

Like selecting a hat for riders.

I'm hoping the Steam machine will fill that void. ('cause I'm getting one for under my TV)

Erasing history is rampant in the games industry. From unplayable originals to missing credits of the OG team.

I get what you're saying, but no other medium had as many and as hard of limitations as games had, due to technology.

So there is some merit. As long as the original is preserved. Which is actually, the crux here.

Technisch gezien heb je gelijk. Maar Technisch gezien gelijk hebben is de kutste vorm van gelijk hebben.

Thanks. I actually was under the impression this was, in fact, true.

Good to know it was just used in one cut scene. Makes sense, because it would've been wholly inefficient otherwise (which is why I was so surprised they would've done it like this)

It's kinda weird how this was spun online. It just sites Nintendo as an example of a company not using GenAI. That's all.

Is it weird that Z-A actually just makes me want a... Kinda blank slate like B&W?

Have a main game without any returning. Poke's or "features" from previous games, like mega's, z-moves or regional species.

Makes me want to look out at what comes after Z-A.

Hoping for a Resurrection of Mario Bros. 35. But it's Mario Bros. 40.

Metaphor on Switch2 PLEASE
September 9, 2025 at 10:38 AM
Gonna play it for my first time on switch 2. Excited! I've gone too long without a Kirby game.

Just need to get a cheap second hand S1 copy...

Looks like some recently discovered Jomon-period clay figure.

At the immediate start, when the camera pans down to ingot isle. The mining sounds are so close to Mining Melancholy from DKC2, it has to be a reference.

I think they're fully committed to a "easy to learn, hard to master" spirit in their modern games. Low barrier of entry and loads of options to help, but for the advanced player there's loads of depth and techniques to master and chain.

Love it, actually. Bananza feels like that too.

After playing mass effect in my early twenties, a next leap for Star Fox, in my head, was always space opera.

With their new open world focus, "open space" doesn't seem far fetched.

Give me Assault, but on a larger scale. Bases on planets with missions, With free flying arwing gameplay in between.

Which almost never is due to the developers and their passion. But loads of times due to company policy and managerial mishaps.

Which sucks, especially since developers get laid off, like the last year's have proven.

Triple A game development is mostly toxic, unhealthy and unsustainable.
