December 12, 2025 at 5:19 AM
Sorry, but I do. Motion to impeach is part of the process and due to the English language, it is correct to say “I think the dems should impeach the president” when referring to presenting the motion and the vote on it. There are plenty of examples where the meaning of a word is altered based on

Umm. They released a statement today about the vote on impeachment. You possibly didn’t understand what Noah was saying because you didn’t have the full facts and context of what he was referring to.
December 12, 2025 at 5:11 AM
And I just double checked, Noah did call out leadership directly.

ask for Jeffries permission.
December 12, 2025 at 4:50 AM
It’s literally not impossible, Rep Green has been doing it. He fails, but he still does it because it’s the right thing to do. He’s doing it without support from leadership, it doesn’t require the approval of leadership to support doing the right thing. They’re grown ass adults, they don’t need to

aren’t drowning in doom and cynicism, we need/want to see the people with power standing up.
The protesters haven’t stopped abductions or deportations or violence, should they just give up too?
December 12, 2025 at 4:44 AM
Yeah, you put it on the floor. You stand up and say this is wrong, we object. You know what the OP meant, it doesn’t need to be a pedantic argument. Get it on the record, the history will matter someday after we’re all gone. Let the future know that this wasn’t just accepted. And for those of us who
December 12, 2025 at 4:42 AM
That attitude is kinda what got us here. Sometimes you have to do the right thing even when you know it will fail. Not opposing is tacitly approving,it’s setting new norms and precedent. If no one objects, then this is the new normal.
December 12, 2025 at 4:38 AM
You can still do the right thing even if it fails. That’s what all those after school specials were trying to teach you, do the right thing even if it makes you look uncool or don’t succeed or don’t get what you want.

writer, importantly ethical standards. The line “why has no one said this before “ (paraphrased) is very telling and even more so that he doesn’t consider those reasons. I have empathy for a person in pain finding some relief, but this is not evidence of beneficial AI.
December 11, 2025 at 1:06 AM
That’s not what I took from this at all. There’s nothing here but an AI being reaffirming and supportive, saying what the human wants. It’s no different than the stories of people falling in love with the AI or the people encouraged to end their life. There’s a lot of context not considered by the

I think this was stated with enough qualifiers to not be ableist. No reason to disregard a candidate just because of a mental illness but if there’s signs that they are not making effort to manage that illness, they probably shouldn’t be taking on more stress and making decisions for a population.

The question to ask is will redistricting work in MD? It’s already heavily gerrymandered. Only one GOP district. A gerrymander dilutes strong districts to increase influence in weaker districts. Would further redistricting in MD create too much dilution and have the opposite effect?

I’m not sure I’m the one having comprehension issues? The comment was pointing out that one of the “allies” is not actually anti-war, they support the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They are criticizing a poor alliance that they feel could be untrustworthy. It’s not inconsistent to oppose the invasion
