It's not a matter of "not liking them". They were known racists and known election deniers. They are grifters and lunatics. Valuing an appearance of normalcy over the protection of minority rights doesn't make you a good politician. And not demanding more of your politicians is honestly sad.

Slotkin needs to start with the phrase "I was wrong." Anyone who didn't see this coming after his first presidency, shouldn't be in power. She's clutching her pearls now but had no issue with these people before. Noem didn't magically become a racist election denier after Slotkin voted yes for her.
