It's hard for me to talk to any of my creative friends. Inevitably they ask how my writing is going. Some even reference specific projects.
There is of course the option for me to relay my recent health difficulties, but we are not close in that way. I love them still, but that is not our bond.

The idea of absolute immunity for anyone seems ridiculous on its face. The foundational principle behind a constitutional democracy is that no-one is meant to be above the law.
Only someone who expects to commit acts that would otherwise be prosecutable would need it as a shield.

Had a hypertensive crisis last year. Dealing with memory loss, aphasia and occasional brain fog because of it. All that in mind, I've decided to post into the void about my life. Maybe learn who I am now along the way as I rewire my brain.
