It likely has some glue pads to secure it to the underside of that casing piece. I used to work for Geek Squad and they CAN do it but there may be an additional hazard fee. It has been many years but I know I replaced many batteries like this back then. It’s worth a call for sure.

Sorry this happened to you, but you’ve already done most of the work to replace it. You can probably get a replacement for $60 or less on Amazon if you’re brave enough to try. Definitely don’t work on it inside!
