70s & 80s music, new wave, classic cars, obscure music, retro stuff....(The irony isn't lost on me that despite my username, the car is a Suzuki Swift GTI)
I genuinely loved the Montego. I had 3 "Rover" ones, a 1.6L, a 1.6 LX and a 2.0 D SLX. The diesel was ultra reliable, the 2 petrols good to drive but both head gaskets went on them. Inside v refined, great seats, elec sunroof, windows..such a shame they hardly exist anymore.

I'm not a fan of cats being honest (mainly cos I'm really allergic to them) but I'd never ever leave an animal who looked lost or distressed to fend for themselves. It's just about being a good person. Sadly some people shouldn't have animals to look after if they can't look after themselves!

Why would you...
A. Buy a 2 door limo
B. Convert is pointlessly
C. Spend nigh on a million pounds?

Easy solution...buy a 2nd hand rolls Royce...if that's your thing...50k will source a good newish one.

Or if,like me, you're in the bargain basement, a sorted Phaeton 3.0tdi for 5k

Had one of those back in 2003. Wish I'd kept it but the sunroof leaked,it did have rust and only one pop up headlight worked. Still loved it though.

Had one of these as a courtesy car back in the 90s. It was old then, on an F plate. Red, slow, really really dull to drive. Love an old Datsun or Nissan but the Prairie was the exception. Slow isn't the word, but for what it was meant to do, it was ahead of its time, along with the Espace

Baby-face turn imminent...or it's done to let people think it is to infiltrate Darby's gang and have a disruptor on the inside..

That binnacle was made for other left hand drive markets, the passenger air vent was placed exactly where the steering wheel should be. Monoblock technology meant the instrument cluster could sit either sit above it on the shelf. Ahead of its time.

I'd even go further and say it's the mythical twin plenum model due to the extras on the dash console. It's proper fancy!!! Or...does it even exist? Who knows?

Anyone else think it mildly resembles a posh Capri, like a 280 Brooklands?
