I first heard this band in the 80s and still love them & have my vinyl album.

We all have different tastes. I‘m almost 59, I genuinely love this song, this band, and the anrtists iconic style. Always have, from the very first time I heard it.

Fun Fact: Most of their clothing came from the iconic & groundbreaking designer Dame Vivienne Westwood (they also designed & made their own). Their fake dread extensions were a huge underground fashion trend in early 80s London. It’s an expen$ive hairstyle that has to be cleaned & maintaine.

um, Def Leppard and Ratt WERE popular when I was in high school. Haysi Fantayzee were much more obscure.

It’s true! Even in the 80s I found pics of George pre-Culture Club (easy to find now) & he looked very different- much more makeup, lots of flowy robes & kiminos, huge dangly earrings, & no braid/locs yet. Looked beautiful & magnificent, but he very much toned himself down to find fame.
