I'm wealthy enough that Trump's economy isn't hurting me and in some ways is benefitting me. The reason I don't support him is because he is hateful and cruel and I care about others. This includes all others, even Trans women who play sports. It's about humanity, Pete.

I'm an older Dem so I can catch you up. Back in 2020 we won the White House, Senate, and House and did zero nada zilch to prosecute numerous politicians who engaged in an insurrection against our government and other known corruption. Our party has never been against political corruption as a rule.

I think you missed the real headline. Retail purchases by dollar amount were up 7%, but prices have gone up 10-20% or more (including tariffs), so actual sales have dropped! This is really bad news and signs of a recession.
